Job Title: Systems Engineer Company Overview: GovCIO LLC is a leading government IT solutions provider specializing in delivering innovative technology services to federal agencies. Role Overview: As a Systems Engineer at GovCIO, you will play a vital role in supporting the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Maverick contract. This hybrid remote position based in Alexandria, VA involves gathering and analyzing system requirements to ensure the delivery of robust and efficient solutions that meet mission-critical needs. What You'll Do: - You will gather and analyze information concerning system capabilities and requirements. - You will design, develop, and implement system solutions tailored to USCG needs. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless operation. - You will troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance. - You will document system configurations, processes, and procedures. - You will support testing and validation of system components. - You will provide technical guidance and support to project stakeholders. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or related field. - Strong knowledge of systems design, integration, and troubleshooting. - Experience working with government or defense contracts is preferred. - Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience supporting USCG or other military branches. - Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and compliance. - Certifications such as INCOSE CSEP or equivalent. - Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
