Job Title: Senior Deployment Engineer Company Overview: GovCIO LLC is a leading government IT solutions provider specializing in delivering innovative technology services to federal agencies. Role Overview: As a Senior Deployment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful deployment and installation of advanced technology systems for the United States Coast Guard under the Maverick contract. This role requires a hands-on approach to technical implementation and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration. What You'll Do: - You will lead the installation and configuration of hardware and software systems on-site at USCG facilities. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during deployment phases. - You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute deployment schedules. - You will document deployment processes and provide detailed technical reports. - You will ensure compliance with security protocols and government regulations. - You will provide training and support to end-users and technical staff. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deployment efficiency. - You will maintain effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and project status. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in deployment engineering or a related technical field. - Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, system integration, and hardware installation. - Experience working with government contracts and understanding of federal security standards. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in both on-site and hybrid remote environments. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with United States Coast Guard systems or similar federal agencies. - Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP. - Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization. - Prior experience in training and mentoring junior engineers.
