Overview GovCIO is currently hiring for a Data Analyst to lead development of data strategy. This position will be located in Fort Meaded, MD and will be an onsite position. Responsibilities The Data Analyst leads development of the data strategy that transforms autonomous pentesting outputs into structured, contextualized datasets suitable for AI training and advanced analytics. This role defines data taxonomies, metadata requirements, labeling approaches, and governance considerations to ensure collected data is representative, comparable, and usable across diverse environments. The Data Analyst ensures data collected during IOC will support future AI development without loss of analytic fidelity. • Develop data taxonomies, metadata, and labeling strategies • Ensure consistency and representativeness across datasets • Support governance and data quality planning Qualifications High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience • Clearance Required: TS/SCI CI Poly • 10 yrs experience in data analysis, analytics strategy, or data governance • Familiarity with large-scale or heterogeneous datasets • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc) Preferred Skills and Experience Company Overview GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range USD $144,000.00 - USD $154,000.00 /Yr.
