Job Details Job Location: Tempe, AZ Salary Range: Undisclosed Principal Software Engineer (Frontend) Location: Remote Reports To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) GoTu Technologies Inc. We’re seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer (Frontend) to lead the design, development, and optimization of our web and mobile platforms. As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you’ll shape the user experience across our products, set high standards for frontend quality, and mentor developers across the organization. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building intuitive, high-performance interfaces at scale Key Responsibilities: Drive frontend technical vision and system design architecture across web and mobile platforms Write, test, and maintain production-quality code on a daily basis Partner with Product and Design teams on complex, high-impact initiatives Mentor engineers and establish strong frontend development standards Drive performance optimization and ensure smooth operation of web and mobile applications at scale Oversee deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments Research and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges Key Competencies: Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and React Native Strong track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams Proven experience scaling frontend systems for high-traffic applications Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills Strategic thinker with a user-centric approach to problem-solving Familiarity with frontend best practices in high-growth environments Required Qualifications: 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in senior or technical leadership roles Proven success building and scaling complex frontend applications Experience working closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Startup or high-growth tech company experience preferred Tech Stack: React, React Native, node.js, Go, Postgres, RabbitMQ, AWS, EKS.
