Cloud Lead Location: King of Prussia, PA (Hybrid) Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Hybrid: Tues–Thu onsite, Mon/ Fri remote Our direct client is in need of a Team Lead for Cloud Engineering and Architecture to guide and support their multi-cloud environment across Azure and AWS. This role blends cloud architecture leadership with hands-on operations, security oversight, and cost governance. What You’ll Do • Lead cloud strategy discussions and represent infrastructure in cross-functional initiatives • Oversee Azure/AWS environments for availability, performance, and scalability • Drive IaC-based provisioning and cloud lifecycle management • Implement cloud security frameworks, IAM controls, and vulnerability management • Produce cost analysis reports and support budgeting, forecasting, and optimization • Partner with application, network, security, and database teams on cloud needs • Support cloud migrations, modernization efforts, and architecture reviews What We’re Looking For • Hands-on multi-cloud (Azure and AWS) environment experience • Strong skills in compute, storage, networking, and cloud services • Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch) • Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS) • Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, NERC CIP) • Experience with cost management tools and cloud financial reporting • Strong communication and cross-team leadership abilities Nice to Have • Azure/AWS certifications • DevOps and CI/CD experience • Background in regulated industries (energy, utilities, critical infrastructure) • Experience with large-scale cloud migrations
