Full Description

Full-time Assistant needed for our Logistics & Building Coodinator for busy scenic warehouse in North Bergen, NJ. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Assist in creating logistics schedule • Oversee & assist in truck packing, loading and unloading • Delivering & picking-up materials in NYC & NJ using our 26' box truck when needed • Maintain storage and rentals • Locate, pull & prep storage and rental orders • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse • Assist in managing 3-5 warehouse associates • Assist in moving scenery and assisting carpenters and painters when needed • Painting scenery and prep for trucking • Wrap and protect scenery for trucking • Scheduling outside vendors when needed for building repairs and management • Communicate with clients regarding deliveries • Ability to drive a forklift a plus Other Requirements • Ability to drive a 26' box truck • Must have clean license • Must have own vehicle • Must be able to lift 75lbs • Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time • Must be able to sit for long periods of time during deliveries and any wait time • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work "until done" • Must have friendly demeanor and be able to work both independently and with a team • Must be professional and punctual • Must have leadership skills and excellent communication • Must be able to read, write and perform basic math • Must be at least 21 years old GENERAL INFORMATION • General Hours are 7:00am–3:00pm, but schedule can change quickly without notice-must be able to work when needed • Medical benefits and PTO after 60 days Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): • Do you have your own vehicle?
