Preferred qualifications: • Master's degree in Engineering or MBA. • Experience working in complex end-to-end (plan/NPI/source/make/deliver/PLM) supply chains. About The Job As the Senior Director, Global Commodity Management, Systems and Memory, you will lead the strategic sourcing and commercial management of key system and memory products and suppliers critical to Google's internal and public cloud infrastructure. You will directly partner with Google’s Platforms and Infrastructure Engineering team and Cloud Supply Chain Operations team to secure optimal commercial outcomes from our most important suppliers. Your leadership in this partnership will be instrumental in enabling Google's most advanced platforms and programs. Your core responsibilities will be to define and own the long-term strategic vision for global systems and memory strategic sourcing. You will lead executive-level discussions with critical systems and memory suppliers, and forge strategic alignment with internal partners in engineering, quality, and supply chain. Your role is pivotal in steering business-critical decisions through advanced analysis and providing sourcing excellence across Google to secure our technological advantage for years to come. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$414,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities • Develop and advocate for the long-term strategic vision for systems and memory that secures Google's technological advantage. • Architect complex, multiyear agreements that shape Google's long-term partnerships with critical suppliers. • Establish the vision for supplier relationship management. Scan external environments for emerging trends that drive dramatic improvements in supplier quality. • Direct the function's commercial and financial analysis to guide strategic decisions. Lead development, documentation, and implementation of standardized sourcing and supplier relationship management methodologies, tools, and processes. • Drive executive-level alignment with senior leadership across engineering, quality, and supply chain.
