As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. In this role, you will be responsible for spares planning, execution, and driving process improvements in our supply chain. You will optimize the material and inventory required to sustain the health of massive compute hardware and technology requirements at our global data centers. You will work closely with Material Planning, New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Hardware Operation, and Data Center Software teams to develop and oversee the execution of the spares strategies that directly support Google's rapidly growing hardware infrastructure. You are a key enabler to ensure support of volume ramp of new technology, and ramp down of old technology.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities • Work with cross-functional partners to develop and execute spares strategies, analytics, and reverse flow processes that enable sustainment of leading edge technology to power our global data centers. Act as a leading team member in the development of spares strategies throughout the product lifecycle. • Enable on-time and predictable delivery of materials to all points of consumption. • Partner with Finance and Inventory Management to enable cost improvement and awareness through sustaining product transitions, inventory planning, and E&O. • Partner with our NPI team to ensure seamless production ramp on innovative new technologies into our global data center fleet. • Contribute to supply chain designs to enable scalable supply chain models in a dynamic product and supply based environment.
