As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for providing coaching, training and mentoring to your workflow teams, as well as provide domain expertise on client specified processes and products. You will be a subject matter expert that designs, develops, and delivers training programs within the GOC Sales & Marketing vertical. The trainer plays a crucial role in educating GOCers, overseeing internal training operations and promoting a team-orientated, improvement focused environment. This role is critical in establishing and managing relationships between key internal customers, clients, and other stakeholders and own all end-to-end product knowledge management. The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $84,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Position Responsibilities: Curriculum Development and Content Creation: Develop and design comprehensive training curriculum, incorporating diverse learning methodologies and adult learning principles. Use a variety of formats, including modules, presentations, handouts, and interactive exercises, to create engaging and informative training materials. Regularly update and revise training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance Training Delivery: Oversee and implement a wide range of training delivery methods, including classroom sessions, online modules, webinars, and workshops. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to enhance training delivery and track learner progress, including AI Learning impact Assessment: Design and implement comprehensive assessments to measure learning outcomes and evaluate the overall effectiveness of training programs. Leverage data-driven insights from evaluations and assessments to showcase value and optimize learning investments Stakeholder Relationships: Forge and nurture strategic relationships with operations leaders, Subject Matter Experts and external vendor partners to keep up-to-date with business and operations needs, industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the relevant domain Marketing Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing workflows, campaigns, and creative production cycles (e.g., email marketing, digital media, or content creation) Project Management: Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to closure, specifically managing intake queues, resource allocation, or workflow timelines Facilitation: Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings, workshops, or training sessions with clarity and engagement Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond the immediate request to identify underlying business needs, gaps, and long-term strategic opportunities within the marketing vertical Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Training Management, or Marketing Operations Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to support email marketing templates, landing page training, or minor LMS troubleshooting Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced marketing environment without losing sight of strategic goals Collaboration: Strong history of working cross-functionally with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and creative teams to drive consensus and results Preferred qualifications: The following qualifications are a plus, but transferable skills and experience are equally valuable: 3+ years experience with various email technology tools, a plus 3+ years experience in marketing automation tools such as Eloqua, Marketo, Marketing Cloud, etc., a plus Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Certification and experience with project management methodologies Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and data visualization tools Benefits We support you with competitive wages and with comprehensive health care including medical, dental and vision coverage We support your family with gender-neutral baby bonding leave, 24-26 week birth-parent maternity leave, and generous life, accident and disability insurance minimums Employees who work onsite can enjoy free meals and snacks, and fun onsite experiences Information collected and processed as part of your Google Operations Center (GOC) jobs profile, and any job applications you choose to submit, is subject to GOC's Applicant and Candidate Privacy Policy.
