Preferred qualifications: • MBA or equivalent practical experience. • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing. • Experience in cloud products across Infrastructure, AI, Data Analytics, Databases, Security and Productivity. • Experience in building, inspiring, and leading various teams. • Experience with problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management. • Ability to drive impact in a fast-paced environment. About the jobStrategy & Operations (S&O) professionals in Google’s Marketing organization provide business critical insights and analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive partnerships and new initiatives forward. Whether you are embedded within a specific marketing team to use insights to enable better marketing decisions or the global S&O function to equip the organization to succeed at scale, you will engage with Google leadership in order to establish Marketing’s direction. You will manage planning and operational processes and work cross-functionally with key partners across Marketing, Product, Finance and Engineering to solve our toughest challenges, advocate for high-priority projects, and drive greater operational excellence within Marketing. To be successful in this role, you have a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving, effective quantitative and communication skills, and the ability to take on broad-reaching and ambiguous questions while working collaboratively and cross-functionally with Googlers of all levels. As a Group S&O Manager of Practice Areas, you will lead a team of dedicated strategy managers (by Practice Area) focused on crafting an integrated marketing strategy across multiple functions (product marketing, campaigns, regional marketing and sales), running the rhythm of business to assess performance initiatives, driving performance deep-dives and owning special projects. As part of this, you will own cross-product area initiatives and manage executive stakeholders to ensure strategy translates to execution and achieves overarching Cloud goals.Know the user. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities • Manage cross-functional executive stakeholders across Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Marketing Analytics, Regional Marketing and Product area GTM Sales. • Propose, co-ordinate, and cascade priorities while aligning the marketing budget to identified investment initiatives through annual planning process. • Contribute actively to building strategy and operations community. • Lead a team of dedicated product area specific strategy managers to drive initiatives, build and execute end-to-end marketing strategy, support performance assessment and own the rhythm of business.
