Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP). • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python). • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers. Preferred qualifications: • 4 years of experience with software development, and with architectural components and system design. • Experience with Machine Learning libraries and concepts. Customer and Partner Solutions Engineers (CPSE) are client-facing engineers who deliver customer solutions and technical consulting. You will anticipate, understand, and solve business challenges by building solutions. You develop prototypes for proofs of concept, advance the data infrastructure, and build web applications. Within the gUP Analytics (Data Science) team, you will be focused on developing technical solutions to enable analysts to innovate on business reporting solutions for gUP. To learn more about gTech, check out our video. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities • Work with the Data Science team to design and implement internal applications to serve a wide range of business needs. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions. • Analyze and resolve technical problems around data infrastructure and access, reporting and tools. Interface closely with Analysts, Data Engineers, Vendors, and Support Operations teams to improve or develop new internal Google tools and data infrastructure. • Support and improve data warehouses, dashboards, and reporting for product support data, and ensure we are adapting to the evolving requirements of data infrastructure. Identify opportunities to automate workflows across a wide variety of projects. • Write and review technical documents. • Write code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
