Today, brokers and operators still coordinate trips through spreadsheets, email threads, and phone calls. We’re replacing that manual back-and-forth with structured, real-time workflows that make pricing, availability, and logistics fast and reliable. The problems we solve are complex and detail-heavy. Accuracy matters because flights are high-stakes. Speed matters because clients expect answers immediately. Our goal is to turn messy operational workflows into software aviation teams trust to run their business. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Goodwin is a fast-growing, distributed team across the U.S., combining aviation expertise with modern product and engineering talent. About The Job We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who can own and elevate our Web experience. We’re looking for someone who: Loves building new screens from scratch Cares about pixel precision and visual polish Thinks deeply about user flow and interaction design Can raise the bar for the entire Web team Actively uses AI tools to improve speed and output If you love building thoughtful, high-quality interfaces and want to shape the standards for a growing team, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Lead frontend architecture and UI standards for our Web product Design and build new screens that translate complex aviation workflows into intuitive experiences Drive consistency across components and evolve our design system Raise the bar on accessibility, responsiveness, and performance Set expectations around code quality, frontend structure, and UI craft Collaborate closely with design and backend to deliver cohesive, high-impact releases Actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to increase development velocity and reduce friction What Does Success Look Like in This Role? You’re curious about our users. You dig into how brokers and operators work so you can build smarter, more intuitive interfaces You sweat the small stuff! You care about details in motion, clarity in copy, balance in layout You take ownership when issues arise and help drive them to resolution. You actively use AI to speed up development, reduce friction, and raise the quality of your work You consistently hit your deadlines (We know, it sounds basic! But it matters.) Your team and our customers count on you to deliver what you commit to, so your work keeps moving and momentum stays strong. Requirements 8+ years of proven experience in a front-end development role Deep proficiency in React (React 18), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS A track record of building and leading complex, user-facing product surfaces Strong ability to implement pixel-precise, responsive interfaces directly from design files Comfortable providing technical direction and elevating frontend standards across a team Proven ability to optimize frontend performance and rendering efficiency Bonus: Experience in fintech or AI-powered apps Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship Role Logistics Location: This role is remote within the United States. We are currently focused on hiring candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zones to support team coverage and collaboration. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $150,000 – $195,000. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skill level, and demonstrated impact. Interview Process: Candidates who move forward after the recruiter screen will complete a coding assessment as part of the interview process.
