Summary: The Front Desk Associate warmly and professionally greets all visitors and manages the main phone line, screening and directing calls as appropriate. This role also ensures the lobby remains clean, organized, and welcoming, consistently maintaining a professional environment for guests and team members alike. Two Part Time Shifts Available: (20 hrs each) M-F 8:30AM-12:30PM M-F 12:30PM-4:30 PM Essential Job Functions 1. Greets, screens, and registers all visitors, ensuring a welcoming and secure entry experience. Notifies appropriate staff of visitor arrival. 2. Answers and manages the main phone line, professionally screening and transferring calls to the correct party. 3. Processes incoming and outgoing mail, including distributing mail, metering postage, and ensuring packages are routed to the appropriate departments. 4. Maintains responsibility for the visitor log during building evacuations, ensuring accurate headcounts. Exits with the Emergency Red Bag during all evacuation drills and actual emergencies. 5. Properly directs any legal documents served by law enforcement or officers of the court to the Director of DDS Services–North or designee. 6. Performs additional duties as assigned, supporting smooth front office operations. Job Requirements * Demonstrated ability to engage with visitors, callers, and staff in a professional, courteous, and service-oriented manner. * Must consistently maintain a professional appearance and diplomatic demeanor. * Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Business casual attire is required to reflect a professional image.
