Display Goodwill’s Core Values - Respect, Excellence, and Integrity. The People Resources Office Manager is the first point of contact for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky’s corporate office. This role will support, coordinate, and operate in collaboration with Human Resources staff and various other departments. • Greet and process on-site visitors; operate telephone switchboard, provide information to the public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties with professionalism and a sense of urgency; triage calls and inquiries to the appropriate functional areas. • Manage and coordinate daily office operations including office supply inventory, vendor relations, facilities requests, mail distribution, and overall workspace organization. • Provide direct executive support to the Vice President and People Resources leadership team, including complex calendar management across time zones, meeting coordination, and preparation of agendas, briefing materials, and follow-up actions. • Coordinate and reconcile travel and departmental expenses; ensure submissions are compliant with company policy and within budget parameters. • Maintain and organize shared folders and file systems for the VP and People Resources department to ensure quick access, version control, and collaboration. • Act as a liaison between People Resources leadership and internal/external stakeholders to track key initiatives, follow up on action items, and communicate progress on departmental priorities. • Plan, organize, and support company meetings and events (both internal and external), including room scheduling, catering, materials preparation, and logistics. • Use HR tools or platforms (e.g., HRIS, payroll, survey, or onboarding systems) to run basic reports, coordinate data collection, and support reporting requirements. • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive business and personnel information. • Support document management, data entry, and light reporting needs for various departments as required. • Serves as a back-up to the Executive Administrative Assistant as needed • Perform other duties as assigned. • Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of staff. • Must be detail-oriented and well organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate work efficiently. • Must demonstrate versatility and the ability to relate to a variety of people, and possess a high degree of discretion. • Ability to maintain confidential information. • Ability to work well independently and proactively. • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems before they arise. • Must have reliable transportation to and from work. • High school diploma or GED, required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. • 5+ years in administrative support, at least 2–3 years supporting executive leadership or managing office operations. • Experience supporting multiple leaders and balancing conflicting priorities diplomatically. • HR administration experience preferred. • Ability to operate general office equipment. • Must have strong knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). • Must have basic mathematical skills. • Strong calendar and travel management skills, including working across time zones. • Competency in file management and cloud storage platforms (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.). • This job may have physical requirements that include sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. • Prolonged periods of working at a computer, including extensive use of keyboard and mouse, and viewing of digital screens. • Must be able to maintain focus, discretion, and composure when handling confidential information or supporting sensitive discussions. • Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is rarely required.
