We specialize in group experiences, corporate outings, brand activations, and sponsorship-driven events — and we’re scaling fast. The Role We’re hiring a Group Sales & Sponsorship Manager to own and grow group bookings, corporate sales, partnerships, and sponsorship revenue across all Goodtime Co brands. This is a hunter + closer role. You’ll be responsible for outbound sales, inbound lead conversion, sponsorship packaging, and building long-term relationships with corporate clients, brands, nonprofits, apartment buildings, universities, and agencies. Key Responsibilities Group Sales (Primary Focus) • Sell group bookings for: • Corporate outings & team building • Birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties • Alumni groups, universities, apartment buildings • Nonprofits & fundraising events • Proactively outbound to: • Local businesses • HR teams & office managers • Event planners • Apartment buildings & residential communities • Respond to and close inbound leads from: • Website inquiries • Email campaigns • Partnerships & referrals • Upsell add-ons: • Custom pickup locations • Branded experiences • Food & drink packages • Insurance, upgrades, premium timeslots Sponsorships & Brand Partnerships • Sell sponsorships and advertising across: • Bikes & buses (vehicle wraps, signage, cups, digital placements) • Nonprofit Nights (Tuesdays) • Summer Sessions (free ride brand activations) • Bar crawls, themed tours, and special events • Package and pitch: • Experiential brand activations • Email blast sponsorships to 250,000+ list • Multi-month and seasonal sponsorship deals • Identify and close: • Local, regional, and national brands • Liquor brands, real estate, casinos, lifestyle brands, tech, automotive Email & List Monetization • Leverage Goodtime Co’s 250,000+ email list to: • Sell sponsored email blasts • Drive group sales • Promote partner activations • Work with marketing to align: • Campaign timing • Offers and messaging • Sales follow-ups and retargeting Pipeline & CRM Management • Maintain clean pipeline in GHL • Track: • Calls, emails, meetings, proposals, closes • Forecast weekly and monthly revenue • Collaborate with ops to ensure smooth execution after sale What Success Looks Like (90 Days) • Fully owns group sales pipeline • Consistently closing $50K–$100K+ per month in group and sponsorship revenue • Active outbound cadence (calls, emails, LinkedIn) • At least 5–10 active sponsorship conversations at any given time • Strong relationships with repeat corporate and apartment clients Ideal Candidate • 2–5+ years in: • Group sales • Event sales • Sponsorship or advertising sales • Experiential, hospitality, or media sales • Comfortable with: • Cold calling & outbound • Selling $1,500–$10,000+ packages • Commission-driven compensation • Highly organized and self-directed • Confident communicator — phone, email, in-person • Bonus if you’ve sold: • Events • Advertising • Sponsorships • Hospitality or experiences Compensation Structure (Example) • Base Salary: $45,000–$65,000 • Commission: • Group bookings: 5–10% • Sponsorships & ads: 10–15% • Performance bonuses for monthly and seasonal targets • Upside tied directly to revenue you close Why This Role Rocks • You’re selling fun, high-energy experiences, not boring software • Strong brand recognition in Detroit • Massive email list and built-in demand • Clear path to Director of Sales as we scale • Direct impact on revenue and company growth Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Paid time off • Work from home Work Location: Remote
