Job Summary Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a deep understanding of the food industry. You will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires creativity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the kitchen. Duties • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations. • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation. • Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure seamless service during peak hours. • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for various dining experiences, including fine dining, banquets, and catering events. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards. Skills • Proficient in food production techniques with a strong understanding of culinary arts. • Experience in restaurant management or food service management is highly desirable. • Knowledge of catering operations and banquet service is a plus. • Strong grasp of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance. • Excellent inventory control skills to manage supplies effectively. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. • Creative flair for developing new recipes and enhancing existing menu items. • Knowledge of Russian and English languages • Knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian cuisine Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
