Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Fine Arts, 3-4 years experience in sports or live entertainment photography, proficiency in Adobe Suite and photography software, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work onsite with extended hours.
The New York Giants are looking for a passionate, skilled, and highly motivated individual to serve as the Manager of Photography, overseeing and executing all aspects of the New York Giants photography needs. The main responsibilities include serving as the lead photographer for gameday, practices, media day and events. The role will also lead the curation and development of the Giants photo management and archival system. The Manager of Photography will also play a key role in developing the overall brand identity, season-long marketing campaigns and will play a key role in ideating new creative styles and concepts for the season across all team platforms with a focus on social media.Key Responsibilities:Primary photographer for home and away games, storytelling each season and overall history of the GiantsCapture images at events year-round for various departments (Sponsorship, Community, Partnerships, Football)Providing real-time assets to content teams for use across various content platformsLead the photography and creative brief process for all tentpole and brand campaigns in collaboration with other members of the Marketing DepartmentManage freelance gameday photographers including NFL LCC programManage the team’s digital asset management systemEdit, caption, tag, archive all images for New York Giants archiveServe as the primary resource for all organizational photography needs, fulfilling internal and external photo requests.Monitor social media trends and present new ideas to enhance content strategyQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Fine Arts or related area3-4 years prior experience in sports or live entertainment is requiredProficient in Adobe Suite, Photo Mechanic, Capture One, LightroomHighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently work on multiple projects at onceKnowledge of Microsoft Office programsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and customer serviceTeam player attitude and willing to jump in wherever necessaryThis is an onsite role in East Rutherford, NJ.
