We are seeking a Payments Analyst to manage and optimize our payments operations, focusing on daily payments operations, analytics, refunds, chargebacks, compliance etc. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, improving analytics, reducing payment disputes, and maintaining a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of payments and fintech, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities: Payments Operations Monitor daily transaction flows across acquirers, PSPs, and payment methods. Communicate with payment providers, customer support, and finance to resolve payment-related issues. Refund & Chargeback Management Review and process refund requests according to company policies. Handle chargebacks end-to-end, including investigation, representment, and dispute resolution. Monitor and reduce chargeback ratios to stay compliant with Visa/Mastercard thresholds. Analytics & Reporting Build and maintain reports on refunds, chargebacks, approvals/declines, and payment performance. Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities to optimize payment processes. Support decision-making with data-driven insights. Process Improvement Contribute to building efficient workflows and automating manual processes. Recommend improvements to refund policies and chargeback handling. Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. 1–3 years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking operations. Solid understanding of payments structure, payments flows, analytics, refunds, chargebacks, and dispute management. Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker. Knowledge of payment lifecycle (authorization, settlement, reconciliation). Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. English proficiency (written and spoken).
