Job Overview CMS is a fast-growing multifamily property management company with a mission to provide great service to the workforce housing communities we manage. CMS is committed to utilizing teamwork, process, and technology to improve the resident experience, drive better resident retention, and rent growth. The Director of Resident Services will be primarily responsible for leading our efforts to retain, renew and service our existing residents, as well as end of lease and collections efforts. The Director will lead a small team as well as communicating directly with residents approaching the end of their lease regarding renewal options, negotiating options to retain residents, as well as contacting delinquent residents. Our objective to maintain effective, proactive communications with our residents and maintain positive relationships with our residents. This position is for someone with a background in property management, customer service and/or sales who is interested in entering the property management / multifamily real estate industry. Responsibilities Lead the Resident Services team of 3 Contact residents regarding their lease renewal options. Discuss annual rent increases with residents Negotiate any renewal issues with residents as necessary. Contact delinquent residents regarding balances due Coordinate Transfers, Moveouts and Movein Collaborate with broader team to resolve any issues. Collaborate with onsite teams for resident events. Use Property Management software to record all information. Experience Three years property management experience preferred. Experience with leases, renewals, collections and negotiations. Experience working with property management, CRM or similar software.
