The Technical Recruiting Specialist plays a critical role in supporting corporate functions (Support Center) by leading comprehensive, full‑cycle recruitment efforts. This position partners closely with leaders at all levels to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies. In collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams within the People function, the Technical Recruiting Specialist helps advance talent and workforce objectives while ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience. The role is responsible for ensuring fair hiring practices, enhancing recruitment processes, and developing targeted sourcing strategies that align with goals established by Talent Acquisition leadership. This position primarily supports IT, Engineering, and Data Analytics functions, while also assisting with recruitment initiatives for other corporate departments as needed. Qualifications Education Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. • Work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Licenses/Certifications Required: • None Work Experience Required: • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience supporting internal business functions across multiple departments. • 3+ years in a corporate environment, having a focus on technical and senior leadership roles. • Strong understanding of technical roles and terminology (e.g., software engineering, IT infrastructure, data analytics). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • This role involves interaction and collaboration with other departments and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills. • Proven experience partnering with executive level and senior leaders to align recruiting strategies with business priorities. • Skilled at building strong relationships with hiring managers and providing consultative guidance throughout the recruitment process. • Expertise in full cycle recruiting, including advanced sourcing, screening, structured interviewing, offer management, and employment branding. • Experience working with ATS and HR systems (e.g., Workday) to manage requisitions, track candidates, ensure data accuracy, and support reporting needs. • Strong understanding of technical roles, functions, and terminology across IT, Engineering, and Data Analytics. • Ability to match candidate qualifications with technical and behavioral position requirements. • Knowledge of labor market trends and talent availability within technical and corporate functions. • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time‑to‑fill, pipeline health) to identify trends and recommend process improvements. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, shifting priorities, and candidate pipelines simultaneously. • Understanding of fair hiring practices, consistent evaluation standards, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment Strategy & Execution • Partner with hiring managers primarily within IT and Engineering leadership—to identify team needs, define role requirements, and develop ideal candidate profiles for Support Center (corporate) roles. • Conduct detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify technical skill requirements, team dynamics, role expectations, and success criteria for Support Center roles. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving technical skill sets, market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to inform hiring strategies. • Build and manage talent pipelines for high priority- technical and leadership roles using proactive sourcing ongoing candidate relationship cultivation. Candidate Assessment & Process Management • Evaluate candidates’ technical qualifications through resume screening and structured interviews, ensuring objective and consistent evaluation standards. • Coach hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, selection best practices, and behavioral based questioning to ensure consistent, equitable decision- -making across teams. • Ensure timely communication and follow through throughout the recruitment process to enhance the candidate experience and reduce time-to-fill metrics. Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership • Advise leaders on workforce planning considerations, such as talent availability, hiring timeline expectations, and role specific- market conditions to support informed decision making. • Partner with Talent Management and Total Rewards to ensure alignment on offer structure, internal equity, and compliance with organizational guidelines. Systems, Compliance & Reporting • Leverage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HR systems (e.g., Workday) to ensure data accuracy, candidate tracking, and compliance with hiring and audit requirements. • Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, sourcing channel performance) to identify opportunities for process improvement and present insights to Talent Acquisition leadership. • Maintain strict adherence to fair hiring practices, ensuring all steps of the recruitment workflow comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. Process Improvement & Talent Initiatives • Contribute to ongoing optimization of Talent Acquisition processes by identifying workflow gaps, recommending enhancements, and supporting implementation of new tools, systems, or methodologies. • Partner with the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, to develop, test, and refine sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles, including niche IT, engineering, and data positions. Additional Requirements • Office Environment: Tasks may be conducted within a climate-controlled office setting. • Physical Activity: The role may require the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, supplies, and equipment (up to 15 lbs.) Duties typically involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent changes in position. • Travel: Travel may be required, including travel between Company locations and out-of town destinations as needed. • Safety Equipment: May require the use of safety equipment for infection prevention.
