Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Services Department Manager to lead our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. The Emergency Services Department Manager's role requires a hands-on approach to managing projects, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality results. The Emergency Services Department Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships while overseeing daily operations and field staff. Responsibilities • Oversee Mitigation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and industry standards. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly. • Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement tasks. • Understand and use the various programs required by the insurance companies (i.e. Xactimate, CoreLogic/Symbility, MICA, Docusketch, Moister Mapper, Etc.) • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits and company policies during all operations. • Understand and complete knowledge of all industry equipment • Provide estimates to insurance carriers. • Stay compliant with all insurance companies requirements and timelines • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to guarantee cleanliness and quality of work. • Train staff on best practices for restoration techniques and equipment usage. • Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the team. Requirements • Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on Water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement. • IICRC Certifications - WRT, ASD, AMRT, Asbestos Supervisor, ICRA • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a cohesive and efficient mitigation team environment. • Must have experience with insurance programs and their requirements • Must know how to write mitigation estimates • Commercial and residential experience is a must • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. • Commitment to safety practices and regulations within the workplace.
