In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers seeking building supplies, providing expert guidance and support to help them find the right products for their projects. Duties • Assist customers in selecting building materials and supplies based on their project needs • Provide detailed product information, specifications, and recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed • Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve overall store performance • Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and company promotions to better serve customers Qualifications • Proven experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably within the building materials or retail industry • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical product details clearly • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed • Knowledge of building materials, tools, or construction is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on delivering excellent customer service • Basic computer skills for processing transactions and maintaining product information • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional industry certifications are advantageous This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, home improvement, or retail sales who thrive in a fast-paced environment dedicated to helping customers achieve their project goals.
