We're seeking an experienced full stack engineer to design and implement a multi-agent AI platform that integrates clinical data, genomics, imaging, and real-time medical device signals to simulate and predict personalized drug responses. This role is ideal for someone eager to work at the intersection of AI, systems engineering, and healthcare innovation. Location: California (Remote options available) Key Responsibilities AI Agent Architecture • Design and implement intelligent agents as part of a distributed multi-agent system • Develop agent communication protocols and orchestration frameworks • Create agents for data ingestion (EMR, imaging, genomics, IoT), analysis, and safety monitoring • Integrate AI/ML models for inference and prediction within agent workflows • Ensure observability, traceability, and fault tolerance across the agent ecosystem Full Stack Platform Development • Develop backend services using Python, Java, or Node.js with REST and GraphQL APIs • Build and optimize PostgreSQL databases and graph database systems • Design and deploy microservices supporting AI agent interaction and system scalability • Implement data streaming and messaging with Apache Kafka or similar platforms • Build responsive and intuitive frontends with React or Vue • Develop dashboards and visualization tools for provider-facing healthcare analytics Data Visualization & User Experience • Create interactive data visualizations for complex healthcare datasets using modern web technologies • Design and implement real-time dashboards for clinical decision support • Build intuitive user interfaces that translate complex AI insights into actionable clinical information • Develop responsive visualization components that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices • Ensure accessibility standards for healthcare applications and diverse user needs Required Experience & Qualifications Experience & Education • 4+ years of professional experience in full stack development or platform engineering • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field • Track record of deploying production AI/ML systems at scale AI & Machine Learning • Proficiency in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) • Experience with agent-based architectures and orchestration • Familiarity with LLMs, MLOps, and AI system deployment Backend Technologies • PostgreSQL and graph database experience (query languages, data modeling) • Data lake frameworks (e.g., Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg) • REST/GraphQL API development and microservice patterns • Real-time messaging (e.g., Apache Kafka) Frontend & Visualization • React.js or Vue.js for modern UI development • Strong experience with interactive data visualization libraries including custom visualizations, statistical charts, data exploration, 3D rendering, and spatial data representation • Proven ability to build complex, interactive dashboards that handle large healthcare datasets with real-time updates • Experience creating responsive data visualizations that adapt to different screen sizes and user interaction patterns • Chart.js, Recharts, or similar libraries for standard charting components • Strong CSS/HTML skills for responsive design and custom visualization styling • Understanding of UX principles for data-heavy applications and information hierarchy • Knowledge of WebGL and canvas-based rendering for high-performance visualizations • Accessibility and responsive design standards for healthcare applications Infrastructure & DevOps • AWS or equivalent cloud platform experience • Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with monitoring, logging, and system reliability engineering Preferred Experience • Familiarity with healthcare data formats • Understanding of clinical workflows and medical device integration • Knowledge of genomics, multi-omics, and bioinformatics concepts • Awareness of regulatory frameworks in healthcare (HIPAA, GDPR) • Bonus: Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, digital twin platforms, or biomedical simulations What We Offer • Competitive salary, equity package, and performance-based bonus • Comprehensive Health, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan • Flexible work arrangements and remote options • Access to state-of-the-art hardware, cloud platforms, and AI research infrastructure • Meaningful work transforming the future of healthcare About GNQ GNQ InSilico is a cutting-edge genomics-driven platform company dedicated to transforming and de-risking the drug development process.
