Project Manager- Lisle, IL/Watertown, WI Department: Product Mgmt - Retail Product Management Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: United States/Watertown, WI Reporting To: Sevice Delivery Manager Compensation: $85,950 - $107,437 / year Description The role of the Project Manager is to help our clients improve customer engagement, efficiency and growth with their teller cash automation product purchase. This includes partnering with all area of the GGS team as appropriate to sell professional services, while delivering tactical projects with a high degree of customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for communicating customer expectations early and often with service teams, financial team, Director Project Management, supply chain, Operations and outsourced third party contractors to ensure minimum inventory holdings and predictability of revenues. Key Responsibilities MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES · Identify professional services sales opportunities and collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to drive new business opportunities. · Direct and manage projects from beginning to end. · Build, develop and grow business relationships. · Lead customer and internal meetings to achieve business objectives and outcomes. · Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholder to form project teams. · Ability to define, construct and execute a “Statement of Work”. · Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. · Effectively communicate project expectations to team member and stakeholder in a timely and clear fashion. · Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. · Identify and resolve issues and conflicts. · Communicate status to customer and key internal stakeholders related to schedule, issues and risks. · Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans. · Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project and our overall relationship with the customer. · Recruit and manage subcontractors as needed to achieve installation schedules. · Scheduling of subcontractor(s), service technicians, training and operations to assure a smooth installation experience for our customers. · Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure product delivery schedules and availability of units if out of published lead times. · Resolve quality issues with received product. · Review order accuracy and escalate orders without confirmed installation dates, locations or configurations to management and sales associates. · Minimize major changes to installation dates. · Manage installation schedules throughout operating systems. · Adhere to all installation management process and policies. · Maintain forecast accuracy for predictability of revenue, 45, 60 and 90 days out. · Other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Education Level: · Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or related are required; professional business experience; MBA or related Master’s degree a plus. Qualifications: · Proven track record of customer facing communication skills, including sale of professional service products and projects. · Experience with projects that involve internal and external stakeholders · Current PMP certification or the willingness and aptitude to obtain one within 12 months of position start date. · 3-5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of end to end sale and delivery of professional service products and projects. · Technically competent with various software program, such as MS Project manager, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word, Smartsheet, creating Gantt charts etc. · Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. · Occasional travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management. · Negotiation skills · Direct industry knowledge with cash automation equipment or equivalent Preferred REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES · Ability to handle shifting priorities, demands and timelines · Ability to understand customer requirements · Experience managing projects that involve the planning and deployment of equipment to customer locations · Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating; · Ability to gain cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and other functional areas; · Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise; · Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity; · Strong written and oral communication skills; · Strong interpersonal skills; · Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products; · Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies and methodologies; · Customer service skills a large asset; · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
