Globeateliê is seeking an Architectural Project Manager — Grocery/Big Box (Design Manager) to support ideation and management of prototypes, branded environments for national and global brands, lead project teams, and manage client accounts, with a focus on the grocery and/or “big box” industries. Candidate must have at least ten years of experience (fifteen+ preferred) in an architectural firm, interior design firm, or similar setting. This position will be well-suited to someone who is highly technical, collaborative, organized, creative, and eager to take initiative. Key Responsibilities • Lead programs with select grocery and big box clients, serving as the key point of client contact while supporting business development (Client Manager) • Lead individual projects through all phases, from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Contract Administration, including prototype management. • Perform thorough quality checks to ensure code compliance and adherence to brand standards. • Manage internal project teams and schedules on individual projects and/or larger programs and initiatives • Mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical and industry knowledge to support the greater growth of the company • Support business development through the growth of existing client accounts and the onboarding of new contacts • Develop designs to scale through various software applications, hand sketching, and materials research • Coordinate with internal and external consultants and production team members Qualifications • Broad understanding of construction, architectural detailing, MEP coordination • At least ten years (fifteen+ preferred) experience in an architectural firm, interior design firm, or similar setting • Experience in project and/or program management • Grocery or Big Box background with prototype experience a plus • Architectural license, or progress in pursuing architectural license through NCARB; alternatively, NCIDQ certification, or progress in its pursuit, is preferred • Code research and permitting due diligence experience • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Bluebeam • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Projects, Smartsheet, Excel, Monday.com, or other project management/production software We offer fantastic opportunities to grow, and we look forward to hearing from you!
