Company Name: The Elite Job Position Title: DevOps Engineer – Fully Remote Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our remote engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, automating, and optimizing our cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and continuous deployment of applications. You will collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and IT professionals to streamline the development lifecycle, improve reliability, and enhance system scalability. Key Responsibilities • * Design, implement, and manage bolthires/CD pipelines to enable rapid deployment and testing. • * Automate cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across staging and production environments. • * Collaborate with developers to enhance application performance and infrastructure stability. • * Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. • * Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes. • * Oversee version control, code branching, and release management using Git and related tools. • * Optimize bolthires, reliability, and efficiency of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • * Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. • * Ensure robust backup, disaster recovery, and scaling strategies are in place. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • * Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or Cloud Engineer. • * Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • * Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals. • * Experience with bolthires/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab bolthires, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. • * Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). • * Knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation practices. • * Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or bolthires Cloud. • * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience • * 3+ years of relevant DevOps or system engineering experience. • * Experience working in remote or distributed teams preferred. • * Prior experience with agile methodologies and modern development workflows. • Working Hours • * Flexible remote working schedule with core collaboration hours between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (GMT/EST overlap). • * Occasional availability for system updates or incident responses outside normal hours may be required. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • * Deep understanding of bolthires/CD, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery pipelines. • * Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities in production environments. • * Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration. • * Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality output. • * Continuous learning mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency. • Benefits • * 100% remote work flexibility. • * Competitive salary with annual performance bonuses. • * Health insurance and wellness benefits. • * Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave policies. • * Continuous learning opportunities and certifications support. • * Work with cutting-edge technologies in a global, collaborative environment. • Why Join The Elite Job At The Elite Job, we value innovation, collaboration, and growth.
