Full Description

This position is a Temporary Warehouse position (90 days) responsible for performing staging, stowing and maintaining inbound material and all other associated tasks. Day shift: M-F 8AM-4:30PM Pay rate: $17 per hour Essential Functions and Responsibilities • Breaks down all inbound material for auditing. • Stages all broken down material in processing lane by client/store and equipment type. • Puts away all material by type in/on appropriate gaylords/pallets once audited. • Keeps all areas in and near processing lane in neat and orderly fashion. • Deconstructs various types of electronic devices. • May assist shipping and receiving by loading and unloading shipment from truck. • Open boxes and other containers. • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times • Report any issues related to work safety or any abnormal material findings to management. • Keep work space in neat and orderly fashion. • Contribute to team effort by completing related tasks efficiently. • Other duties as assigned. • High school diploma or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required abilities. • 1 years of work experience preferably in warehouse or fulfillment environment. • Must successfully pass extensive Criminal Background check and Drug screening • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment • An ability to function well as part of a team • Diligent attention to detail • Diligent attention to safety • Ability to establish effective working relationships with peers and superiors, and customers. • Ability to move, lift heavy products • Good communication, organizational, and time management skills. • Dependable and Reliable. • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated, hard-working individual. • Self-starter, who applies individual initiative to get the job done. • Strong interpersonal skills and positive work ethic. • Must be detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency. Work Environment • Position will be performed in a warehouse environment which requires the ability to stand for multiple hours in a day in a facility that is exposed to altering degrees of cold and heat. • Physical Demands • This position requires extended periods of time working in a warehouse facility. • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. • Requires the use of hands to handle objects and equipment. Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading products. • Requires the ability to stock shelves by climbing ladders or stairs; able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift/move inventory. • Duties will require the ability to routinely lift 20 lbs., and occasionally greater than 35 lbs. and/or move objects that weigh more than 45lbs. • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. • Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust or fumes.
