Primary Job Title: PKI Engineer Alternate/Related Job Titles: • Public Key Infrastructure Engineer • Certificate Lifecycle Management Engineer • Security Infrastructure Engineer • PKI Systems Architect • Cryptography Engineer Location: Remote — NC Onsite Flexibility: Remote Contract Details: • Position Type: Contract • Contract Duration: 4 months • Start: 09/15/2025 • End: 01/19/2026 Job Summary: The PKI Engineer will play a key role in the design, deployment, and configuration of a new KeyFactor Command and KeyFactor EBJCA SaaS solution to support enterprise-wide certificate distribution and lifecycle management. This position requires deep technical expertise in PKI methodologies and tools, along with the ability to collaborate within structured project lifecycles to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions for a large financial institution.Key Responsibilities: • Assist in deploying and configuring a new instance of KeyFactor Command and EBJCA SaaS. • Provide advisory support to the lead engineer and project manager, addressing technical challenges. • Deliver milestones and documentation as part of structured project lifecycles. • Configure, test, and onboard integrations for KeyFactor Command. • Collaborate with engineering peers to ensure successful deployment and certificate lifecycle management. • Support team efforts by offering technical consultation and peer assistance as required. Required Experience: • Strong experience with PKI methodologies, design, and deployment. • Expertise in PKI system lifecycle management. • Hands-on experience with KeyFactor Command configuration, testing, and integrations. • Demonstrated success working in structured project environments. Nice-to-Have Experience: • Experience leading full PKI CLM deployments (KeyFactor strongly preferred). • Active Directory, Windows OS, and PowerShell scripting skills.
