Associate Product Manager — Commerce & ACTIVE Refund ACTIVE Network is hiring an Associate Product Manager to join the Commerce product team. This role focuses on the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing performance of commerce-related products, with primary product ownership of ACTIVE Refund and supporting responsibilities across ACTIVE Advantage. The Associate Product Manager reports to the Manager, Product Management for Active Advantage and Commerce products and works closely with Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Operations, and Customer Support. What You’ll Do • Serve as the primary product owner for ACTIVE Refund, responsible for day-to-day product health, performance tracking, and operational consistency. • Monitor adoption, conversion, refund outcomes, and revenue performance across event types and seasons. • Produce recurring reports and summaries used by product, finance, and operations leadership. • Act as a core member of the Commerce team, supporting implementation and maintenance work across commerce products, including ACTIVE Advantage. • Contribute to the launch and upkeep of ACTIVE Advantage benefits, working with internal teams to ensure offerings are accurately represented and properly supported across systems. • Be a primary user of the Commerce Admin Tool and work closely with the Commerce product team to improve workflows, usability, and reliability based on real operational usage. • Provide structured feedback and requirements to the Commerce product team informed by hands-on administration and support needs. • Maintain clear product documentation and internal references that support cross-team alignment. • Partner with Finance to track pricing, cost ratios, and overall financial impact of ACTIVE Refund. • Coordinate with Customer Support and Operations to identify recurring issues and ensure they are addressed through product or process improvements. What You Bring • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivots, formulas, structured reporting, attention to data accuracy). • Ability to interpret trends and anomalies and explain them clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Comfort operating across product, commerce, finance, and support teams. • Clear, direct written communication; precision matters. • Familiarity with basic product management workflows and tools (requirements, backlog support, cross-team coordination). • Ability to manage recurring operational responsibilities without things slipping. Nice to Have • Experience with commerce systems, transactional add-ons, or protection-style products. • Exposure to event registration platforms or high-volume checkout environments. • Experience supporting partner-driven or catalog-style offerings that require ongoing maintenance. About ACTIVE Refund ACTIVE Refund is an optional paid protection added during event registration checkout. It allows participants to receive an automatic refund when they are unable to attend an event, based on defined program rules. The product is tightly integrated into ACTIVE’s commerce and registration infrastructure and requires strong operational ownership and cross-team coordination.
