Job Title: Supply Chain Analytics Subject Matter Expert (Kinaxis & SAP) Location: Remote / Hybrid Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive data-driven decision-making and solve complex business challenges across our end-to-end planning ecosystem. In this role, you will combine deep functional supply chain expertise with advanced analytical capabilities, partnering directly with planning and operations teams to optimize inventory, streamline demand and supply balancing, and execute allocation strategies. You will serve as the bridge between business processes and technical architectures, leveraging Kinaxis RapidResponse and SAP to design, build, and operationalize advanced analytics models. Key Responsibilities • Advanced Supply Chain Analytics: Design, develop, and operationalize analytical models to solve critical operational bottlenecks across Inventory Management, Demand & Supply Planning, Allocation, and Network Optimization. • Kinaxis RapidResponse Solutioning: Author and maintain custom Kinaxis workbooks, control tables, metrics, and alerts; build simulation and what-if scenarios to balance constrained supply, mitigate disruptions, and evaluate trade-offs in real time. • SAP Integration & Master Data Alignment: Audit and align supply chain master data (BOMs, lead times, lot sizes, procurement schedules) across SAP (ECC/S4HANA, IBP, or APO) and Kinaxis to guarantee data integrity across all planning cycles. • Inventory & Safety Stock Optimization: Establish dynamic multi-echelon safety stock strategies, lead-time variability models, and replenishment thresholds to reduce working capital while protecting customer service level agreements (SLAs). • Constrained Allocation Strategies: Formulate rules-based allocation frameworks and pegging logic to dynamically prioritize demand fulfillment across strategic accounts, regional channels, and high-margin product lines during supply shortages. • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Partnership: Translate complex analytical findings and simulation outputs into actionable executive insights, guiding Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles. Qualifications & Experience Required: • 7+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Demand & Supply Planning, or Network Optimization roles. • Proven functional and analytical expertise utilizing Kinaxis RapidResponse (authoring, workbook design, scenario modeling, supply-demand balancing). • Practical experience working with SAP planning environments (SAP IBP, SAP APO, or core SAP S/4HANA / ECC Materials Management and Production Planning). • Strong analytical toolkit: proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction, manipulation, and statistical modeling. • Demonstrated track record optimizing multi-echelon safety stock, reducing inventory carrying costs, and managing supply allocation logic. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. Preferred: • Kinaxis Certified RapidResponse Author, Contributor, or Administrator. • Hands-on experience developing business intelligence dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for executive supply chain reporting. • Deep domain experience within manufacturing, consumer goods, life sciences, or high-tech electronics supply chains.
