Full Description

Position Summary:  Duties include; Order picking, processing, packaging, and shipment. Duties also include reporting back orders, updating shipping files, and basic warehouse maintenance RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES: Receiving incoming products and materials. 1. Requires completion of incoming inspection testing, confirmation of certificate of conformance and reconciliation of receiving / purchase documentation. 2. Notification and/or delivery of incoming product to end user. 3. Each receipt must have documentation (Packing Slip etc.) to support computer system entries. 4. Requires completion of daily Receiving entries in computer system. 5. Receivers distributed to purchasing office for filing. Raw material and critical supply inventories. 1. Requires maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting and reporting, monthly inventory accounting, and reorder quantity vendor releases notification. 2. Actual Physical Counts of Raw Material and tag controls required All out bound shipments 1. Requires preparation of sequentially numbered paper work in QuickBooks/ProMan accounting system, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services. 2. UPS/FedEx software is to be used effectively and understood for summary reporting on request. General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas. 1. Requires hands on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other department and outside waste disposal vendor. Documentation distribution 1. Requires transfer of all original documents to Purchasing Supervisor for distribution: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED: * High School Diploma * At least 1 year in manufacturing environment.
