Role Overview: As a Service Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for end users experiencing technical issues within our healthcare network. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless operation of clinical applications and business software, enabling healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. What You'll Do: - You will provide timely and effective support to hospital and clinic staff experiencing software and hardware issues. - You will troubleshoot and resolve problems related to clinical application software suites and various operating systems. - You will assist users with business productivity software, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow. - You will document incidents and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system. - You will escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary. - You will communicate clearly and empathetically with users to understand and address their concerns. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare IT technologies. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and user satisfaction. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years experience in IT support or a related help desk role. - Proficiency with clinical application software and common operating systems (Windows, macOS). - Strong knowledge of business productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare IT environment. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices. - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar. - Multilingual abilities to support diverse user populations.
