Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a .NET MVC Developer to work in a remote capacity, supporting key business systems in Payroll, Fund Accounting, HR, and Asset Management. As a .NET MVC Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications and reports using .NET technologies and Microsoft SQL Server. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications using MVC.NET (v5 and 4.7.2 framework). Build and maintain reports using Wyn Active Reports (.rdlx) and legacy Active Reports (.rdl). Develop, debug, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server. Enhance and support business-critical modules including Payroll, Fund Accounting, HR, and Asset Management. Collaborate with team members via Zoom for meetings, standups, and reviews. Implement structured error logging using NLog. Utilize Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise (Ultimate) for application development. Leverage Sencha JS for custom UI components and extensions. Use LINQPad and SSMS for testing, querying, and development. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience with MVC.NET (v5 or 4.7.2). 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query tuning and stored procedure development. Experience building or maintaining reports using Active Reports (rdl or rdlx formats). Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote or hybrid team environment. Proficient in Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise, SSMS, and LINQPad. Experience with Wyn Active Reports and legacy Active Reports formats. Exposure to Sencha JS or similar front-end frameworks. Familiarity with NLog or other enterprise-level logging frameworks. Previous work in financial or HR application environments. Background in Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies.
