About The Role Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF) seeks an experienced Information Security Operations Manager to lead the transformation and daily execution of security operations across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, process understanding, vision, and operational discipline to elevate the organization’s cyber defense capabilities. A key responsibility includes managing the relationship with a Managed Security Provider (MSP) to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coach team while overseeing outsourced security service providers, including 24/7 SOC and support for SIEM and SOAR. • Define and report on key Security Operations metrics, including acceptance tolerances and performance against objectives. • Manage and update Security Incident Response Plan, including playbooks and runbooks for incident management. Lead or arrange pre-incident readiness exercises with technology teams and IT/business leadership. • Act as primary incident response leader and support HR, legal, and policy violation investigations. Ensure security incidents follow all lifecycle stages, including post-mortems, and drive continuous improvement in prevention, detection, and response. • Serve as the primary oversight and liaison for the MSP, helping to define and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), escalation protocols, and performance metrics are met. • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of MSP capabilities and alignment with organizational goals. • Contribute to the cybersecurity strategy and roadmap, aligning security operations with business objectives. About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred. • 8+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years of experience in security operations • Proven experience managing third-party security vendors or MSPs • Strong expertise in security operations, incident response, threat detection, and investigative methodologies • Strong understanding of security technologies: SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security • Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CISM preferred. • Experience with vulnerability management • Strong analytical, relationship management, and communication skills (both written and verbal). • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders About Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF) Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
