REMOTE OPPORTUNITY !!!! The Customer Support Specialist will provide technical consultation and oversight from pre-sale through commissioning. This role partners with Home Energy Consultants, sales teams, and installation partners to ensure seamless integration, accurate scope validation, and a world-class customer experience. Potential for 100% remote work. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent considered with relevant experience. • Experience: 8+ years in the electrical/electronic field, with journeyman-level experience; minimum 3 years in electrical component work, electrician roles, or EV charging equipment installation/repair. • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems and product integration; ability to perform site feasibility reviews and troubleshoot installation issues. Key Responsibilities • Pre-Sale Technical Consultation: Partner with Home Energy Consultants (HEC) to review customer profiles, site feasibility, electrical needs, and product compatibility; join Energy Consultation calls to set expectations on timelines, V2H functionality, and ESS integration. • At-Sale Final Review: Join final sales calls to confirm bundle compatibility, installation scope, and customer understanding of integration details . • Post-Sale Support Through Commissioning: Oversee projects from sale through commissioning, including site assessments, installer coordination, quote review, and troubleshooting. Stay engaged until systems are operational, documenting technical interactions. • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Sales, Installation, and Customer Care to ensure smooth handoffs and adherence to the Technical Advisor Integration process. • Support business initiatives such as utility program enrollment and delivering a high-touch customer experience for prominent clientele. • Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to engage directly with high-profile clients. • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. • Travel & Scheduling: Potential for 100% remote work; standard 1st shift hours (8am– 5pm) with occasional overtime as needed; no travel required Company DescriptionAbout Us GLOBAL Automation Technologies is a U.S.-based industrial company founded in 2009 with a global presence across North America, South Africa, and the UAE.
