Join our global organization as an experienced ABAP Developer where you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing SAP solutions across our operation. This position offers the chance to work on complex technical challenges while collaborating with teams across multiple regions and time zones. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP applications across our SAP landscape Create new development projects from scratch and support legacy development projects Collaborate closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions Manage multiple development projects simultaneously, from requirements analysis through deployment and support Apply a forensic mindset to troubleshooting production issues and conducting root cause analysis Implement sustainable fixes and contribute to system enhancements Participate in technical design discussions and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and best practices Provide production support and optimize existing code for performance and maintainability Required Technical Skills ABAP Fundamentals: 5-10 years of proven ABAP development experience with deep expertise in syntax, commands, efficient code writing, and data dictionary management ABAP Objects (OO ABAP): Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles including classes, methods, and inheritance Database Operations: Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, internal tables, and data modeling Reporting: Expertise in ALV (ABAP List Viewer) and interactive reports; Excel-based data reporting and extraction Forms: Experience creating forms using Smartforms and SAPscript Debugging & Performance Tuning: Strong capabilities in identifying issues and optimizing code execution ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP): Familiarity with modern S/4HANA development and clean core principles Web Services & Integration: Experience creating and consuming REST/SOAP services and working with OData Enhancements: Proficiency with User Exits and BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) Data Migration: Knowledge of BDC (Batch Data Communication) and LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) SAP Fiori/UI5: Experience building modern user interfaces ECC 6.0: Mandatory hands-on experience (must have) Required Functional Knowledge Must be fluent in one or more core ERP modules: MM (Materials Management) PP (Production Planning) PS (Project Systems) SD (Sales and Distribution) QM (Quality Management) CS (Customer Service) FI (Financial Accounting) CO (Controlling) Deep understanding of business processes within area of expertise Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions Preferred Qualifications S/4HANA development experience Complex manufacturing environment experience Prior work in global, multi-site organizations Essential Soft Skills Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills in English (must have); German is beneficial Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with meticulous approach to development and documentation Problem Solving: Forensic mindset with strong analytical thinking and ability to identify root causes efficiently Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines Collaboration: Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across global teams Adaptability: Able to work effectively across different time zones and cultural contexts Language Requirements English: Fluent (required) German: Beneficial The salary range in this posting depends on qualifications and experience.
