We’re seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager who is confident in leadership, skilled in treatment plan presentation, and comfortable discussing financial options for larger cases. Position Summary The Dental Office Manager oversees daily front office operations, ensures smooth patient flow, and plays a key role in supporting treatment acceptance. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication and sales-focused skills. Key Responsibilities • Lead, train, and support the front office team • Maintain efficient daily operations and ensure excellent customer service • Manage patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, and phone systems • Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and manage accounts receivable • Present comprehensive treatment plans—including larger, multi-appointment cases—with confidence and clarity • Discuss financial arrangements and help patients understand the value of treatment to increase case acceptance • Collaborate closely with the dentist to support practice goals and patient care • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance • Support onboarding and foster a positive team culture Qualifications • Required: 2+ years of experience in dental office administration • Preferred: Experience as an office manager, treatment coordinator, or lead front desk role • Demonstrated ability to present and explain large treatment plans in a patient-friendly, value-focused way • Comfort with discussing financial arrangements and using sales/communication techniques to improve treatment acceptance • Strong understanding of dental insurance, terminology, and coding • Proficiency in dental practice software (OpenDental) • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a busy environment • Positive, team-oriented attitude Benefits • Competitive pay (based on experience) • Paid time off • Employee dental benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Paid time off Work Location: In person
