Provide on-site equipment service for a radiology equipment portfolio, including preventive maintenance, emergency service, and installation support. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, meet business objectives, and develop sales skills to promote service programs. Job Description • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at customer sites using approved procedures and documentation. • Troubleshoot and repair technically complex equipment using resources and technical knowledge. • Organize daily work schedule and coordinate with teammates for efficient operations. • Maintain and reorder mobile inventory to maximize equipment uptime and return defective/used inventory for refurbishment. • Generate service revenue by promoting Service Programs and Billable services; prepare and follow up on service quotes. • Identify and communicate new products or upgrade sales leads to the sales team. • Complete work orders accurately for proper customer billing. • Maintain company vehicles, calibration tools, special equipment, and stock inventory. • Safeguard proprietary information, including service manuals, software, and electronic devices. Skills Required • Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities for complex equipment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management/workforce software. • Strong organizational and scheduling skills to prioritize and manage workload. Education/Training/Certifications • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, IT networking, computer science, or related discipline preferred. • Military training in electronics, aviation, IT, or computer science with 2 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with certifications/training in these areas and 3 years of relevant experience. Additional Requirements • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check. • Shift: 08:00 AM • Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) and respond to emergency off-hours calls for 24/7 support. • Prior experience in a hospital setting or customer service preferred. • Ability to travel within assigned territory up to 70% locally and regionally, including occasional overnight trips. • Physical ability to lift/push over 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, or crawl. • Must hold a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
