About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and Product Development Manager with a strong background in formulations and beauty industry trends. This role bridges creative ideation with project execution and vendor coordination, ensuring we bring innovative, best-in-class products to market on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Innovation & Product Ideation: Actively shop Ulta, Sephora, and competitor channels to identify trends, top-selling items, and market white space opportunities. • Pitch new product ideas with compelling storylines that align with brand DNA (Glamnetic and beyond). • Assess product feasibility with R&D, supporting concept validation and early-stage COG estimation. • Formulation & Development: Collaborate with R&D to brief formulas (texture, actives, claims, compliance).Track all formulation submissions, feedback, revisions, and testing. • Maintain a strong understanding of raw materials, pricing models, MOQ implications, and vendor capabilities. Project Management • Manage multiple product timelines in ClickUp, aligning PD, Creative, Ops, and Regulatory stakeholders. • Own the product brief process • Assign and oversee tasks for PD Assistant to ensure progress and accountability. • Lead weekly status meetings to review milestone progress, flag delays, and offer solutions. Vendor & Cross-Functional Communication • Act as point person between Glamnetic, R&D, Production, QA, and Packaging partners. • Own vendor communication on formula, pack-out, and costing updates. • Partner with Operations to review PO timelines and batch submissions for seamless execution. Regulatory & QA Support • Ensure full documentation is tracked for all regulatory bodies (MoCRA, Prop 65, international compliance). • Partner with QA on formula safety, batch records, and manufacturer audits. • Maintain digital filing systems with complete, up-to-date records for all projects. Leadership & Reporting • Submit OKRs • Approve POs, PPS, and batch release submissions in a timely manner. Requirements: • 3–5 years of experience in beauty product development (with at least 1–2 years in formula-heavy categories like skincare, body, or color cosmetics). • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements (MoCRA, INCI listings, testing protocols). • Proficiency in project management tools like ClickUp, Monday.com, or Asana. • Ability to juggle multiple projects in different stages (ideation through commercialization). • Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills.
