Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our checkout process. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. • Accurately process transactions using the cash register, including cash, credit, and debit payments. • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly. • Ensure that all products are scanned correctly and that prices are communicated clearly to customers. • Assist with restocking shelves as needed and keep track of inventory levels. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations. Qualifications • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not required. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. • Attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of transactions. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
