Job Title: Administrative Assistant Company: Gittings Protective Security Location: Ebensburg, PA (15931) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $17 - $24 per hour, based on experience Job Summary Gittings Protective Security is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Administrative Assistant to support our CEO and operations team. This role combines bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and operational support in a dynamic security services environment. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and able to multitask effectively while handling sensitive information with discretion. Key Responsibilities • Manage bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. • Handle bill payments, expense tracking, and basic financial administration. • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents. • Order equipment and supplies as needed to support operations. • Provide customer service via phone and email, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Create, schedule, and manage jobs using Workiz software, ensuring efficient workflow. • Dispatch personnel and resources for jobs, coordinating with field teams. • Assist the CEO with special projects, research, and ad-hoc tasks as required. • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and security protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, or a similar role (1-3 years preferred). • Proficiency in QuickBooks; familiarity with Workiz or similar scheduling software is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Excellent communication skills for handling customer calls and internal coordination. • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field preferred. • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
