Manage site recruitment and school engagement, build partnerships, coordinate volunteers, and support program delivery and growth across multiple regions.
Experience in relationship management, program coordination, volunteer engagement, and operational tasks such as tracking revenue and database management.
Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Teams meet twice weekly at school and park sites for eight weeks. Trained volunteer coaches deliver lessons that combine social-emotional topics and physical activity, equipping girls with the skills they need to thrive. To ensure access to our uplifting program, the Program Outreach Manager serves as the primary driver of site recruitment and school engagement. This individual manages new site relationships across Oregon and SW Washington while supporting overall program delivery. The role involves significant relationship management, from building partnerships with schools and community organizations to coordinating with volunteers. A successful candidate will excel in both outward-facing cultivation initiatives and detailed operational tasks, such as tracking revenue targets and database management. In the coming year, Girls on the Run Greater Oregon will engage more than 400 volunteers and serve an estimated 1,400 girls across twelve counties. The Program Outreach Manager plays a key role in expanding this impact by supporting sustainable growth and quality delivery of GOTR programming. This position can be located in any of our current programming regions – Portland Metro, Eugene, Corvallis or Bend. If located in Portland, this position would follow a hybrid work model; if located in another area it would be fully remote.
