Position: Kitchen and Bathroom Design Assistant / Customer Service Company Overview For over four decades, Gilmans Kitchens and Baths (www.gkandb.com) has been the Bay Area’s trusted full-service design-build kitchen and bath remodeling firm. Immediate Opening – San Rafael Showroom We are seeking a Kitchen and Bath Design Assistant / Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate is dependable, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. You will support our showroom designers by delivering excellent customer service, staying highly organized, and helping ensure every project runs smoothly. Our showroom hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM, and consistent attendance is essential to our success. This role also offers a clear path to learning the craft of kitchen and bathroom sales and design. What We’re Looking For: • At least 1 year of remodeling experience • At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience • Proficiency—or willingness to learn—2020 Design software and CRM systems • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with a positive, team-focused attitude • Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, email, and call management skills What You’ll Receive: At Gilmans, we believe in treating our employees like family.
