This role is pivotal in enabling the President to focus on strategic leadership while ensuring daily priorities—both professional and personal—are seamlessly managed. This is a high-trust role requiring impeccable judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate confidential and time-sensitive matters with grace and efficiency. This is a part-time opportunity during business hours with the possibility of becoming full-time role. • **This role will begin on a part-time basis, with plans to expand to full-time as business needs evolve. • **The position is based out of Washington, D.C. Who we are looking for The Personal Assistant to the President of Gilat Defense is a highly organized, discreet, and proactive Personal Assistant to support the President of Gilat Defense. This role is pivotal in enabling the President to focus on strategic leadership while ensuring daily priorities—both professional and personal—are seamlessly managed. What you will do • Manage and optimize the President’s complex calendar, including personal appointments, meetings, travel, and events. • Screen and manage incoming calls and correspondence. • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents. • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements—flights, accommodations, itineraries, and logistics. • Plan and organize meetings with participants, internal and external • Handle personal errands, shopping, reservations, event planning, and other household or lifestyle needs. • Act as a liaison between the President and internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders. • Provide administrative support, such as expense reporting, document preparation, and communication drafting. • Prioritize incoming requests, flag urgent matters, and anticipate the President’s needs proactively • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters at all times. Requirements • 5+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar support role to a C-level executive or high-profile individual. • Bilingual with Hebrew language proficiency is a must • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness are non-negotiable. • Ability to manage tasks & mini projects • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management systems. • Experience coordinating international travel is a plus. • Flexible and responsive, with the ability to manage last-minute changes and high-pressure situations. • Must be detailed with organizational and planning skills • Additional tasks to be defined based on need from time to time • Four (4) year degree from an accredited university a plus. • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required typing skills.
