Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to help oversee all aspects of daily store operations. This role requires strong leadership, multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager will assist with customer service, production coordination, employee supervision, quality control, cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the store. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with dry cleaning, retail, hospitality, or service management experience who takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences and leading by example. Responsibilities Customer Service • Greet and assist customers professionally • Resolve customer concerns and garment issues • Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately • Provide excellent communication and follow-up with customers Store Operations • Assist with managing daily store operations • Ensure garments are tagged, inspected, and organized properly • Monitor workflow to maintain production deadlines • Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store • Assist with inventory and supply management Team Leadership • Supervise and support team members during shifts • Help train new employees on store procedures and customer service • Assist with scheduling and shift coverage • Promote accountability and teamwork • Address employee performance or attendance issues when necessary Quality Control • Inspect garments for stains, damage, missing buttons, or special requests • Ensure all orders meet company quality standards before pickup • Help minimize production errors and lost items Administrative Duties • Assist with opening and closing procedures • Handle POS transactions and cash management • Support owner/management with operational tasks and reporting Qualifications • Previous management, assistant management, or supervisory experience preferred • Dry cleaning, laundry, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure • Reliable attendance and punctuality • Problem-solving and leadership abilities • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting garments/orders as needed • Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred Schedule • Full-time or Part-time available • Must be available some Saturdays • Flexible schedule based on business needs Compensation • Competitive pay based on experience • Opportunity for advancement • Employee discounts available Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: • Reliable and dependable • Detail-oriented • Professional and positive • Comfortable managing employees and customer situations • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Motivated to help grow the business How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief description of your management or customer service experience.
