7+ years HR experience with 2+ years leadership, knowledge of multi-state employment law, bachelor’s degree, and preferred SHRM certification.
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Lead to oversee people operations and drive key HR initiatives. This role will partner closely with leadership to shape organizational culture, support growth, and enhance employee experience. Responsibilities: • Lead all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee relations, performance development, and compliance. • Partner with leadership to design and implement people strategies that align with business goals. • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on organizational development, engagement, and retention strategies. • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal regulations. • Manage HR systems, analytics, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications: • 7+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role. • Strong background in employee relations, organizational design, and performance management. • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment. • Deep understanding of California and multi-state employment law. • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required; SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred. • Start-up industry experience preferred. $95,000 - $115,000 a year #GHJSS
