This position is located preferably be in our Phoenix, AZ office. You will play a crucial role in managing daily operations that support both internal business functions and client-focused environmental database management services. Responsibilities include ensuring the efficient and timely completion of operational tasks, overseeing project execution through effective coordination with multiple departments, and maintaining strong customer relationships to uphold high standards of satisfaction. Overseeing projects and coordinating with various departments to ensure successful project execution. Preparing reports and analyzing data to support decision-making and strategic planning. Implementing and monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures. Business Case: Carry out feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases. Enterprise Business Analysis: Identify solution recommendations to business problems when given fairly well understood business needs at a business unit level. Requirements Management: Identify, elicit, and document project/process requirements, using appropriate modeling technique, if required. Analyze requirements and validate with original users, eliminating confusion. Define the testing scripts and verification criteria to ensure requirements are met. Maintain documentation and traceability throughout project. Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Documentation and Backup: Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur. Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems. Education Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Computer Science, Data Management, Environmental Science, Hydrology or equivalent degree Experience Minimum 1 year of professional experience Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the same industry. Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in relational database concepts and fundamentals. Experience with enterprise database software: EarthSoft EQuIS, ESdat, MS SQL Server, Microsoft Access preferred but not required. Experience in data visualization (i.e. Power BI) is an asset.
