What You Will Do: GFT is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY. This role requires regular attendance in New York, NY. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • Assist with design and construction meetings • Prepare progress reports • Assist with RFI’s, and submittals • Reviews estimates, negotiates, and processes change orders • Coordinate project and contract schedules • Maintain job record files • Participate in progress meetings, generating meeting minutes • Assist in field inspections and verify work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications • Assist Project Manager with administrative support Education | Experience: What you’ll bring to our firm: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field • 2-4 years’ of related experience • E-builder experience • Able to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Must possess a driver’s license Featured Benefits: • Comprehensive benefits package including wellness programs, parental leave, and pet insurance, in addition to medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. • Tax-deferred 401(k) savings plan. • Competitive paid-time-off (PTO) accrual. • Tuition reimbursement for continued education. • Commitment to professional development, access to internal and external training programs, and support of active participation in professional organizations • Incentive compensation for eligible positions.
