We’re seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer to lead high-level technical initiatives and help scale a complex platform. This senior role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, mentorship, and system-level thinking. The position is open due to growth and will focus on designing resilient, scalable solutions with modern technologies. What You’ll Do Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy across key initiatives. Build and maintain full-stack applications with Python and Ruby as core technologies. Design and implement scalable systems supporting advanced matching and marketplace features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and data, to deliver innovative solutions. Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and raise the technical bar across the team. Balance technical expertise with a business-first problem-solving approach. Who You Are 10+ years of professional software engineering experience. Live in the US (East Coast) Strong expertise in Python and Ruby. Background in distributed systems, scalable architectures, or marketplace platforms. Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers. Strong collaborator with empathy and a team-first mindset. Preference for candidates who have thrived in startup or high-growth environments (not strictly extensive industry backgrounds). Stable career history — not a job hopper. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI/ML applications or recommendation systems. Familiarity with large-scale data processing and compliance standards. Strong academic or proven technical background (STEM-focused programs or equivalent expertise). Experience with published technical content or conference speaking is a plus.
