Position Summary The Supply Chin Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management and supplier performance. This role ensures product availability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence while supporting company growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on individual who can simultaneously lead projects and be responsible for overseeing daily demand and inventory planning. A successful candidate will effectively develop and execute demand and supply plans that result in meeting service and turns objectives. Skillful collaboration with colleagues from sales, marketing, product management and factories will be critical to success. Practical experience interacting with factories in China and Mexico would be a strong advantage. Responsibilities Demand & Supply Planning • Lead the monthly demand planning cycle, developing SKU-level forecasts using historical data, market trends, and promotional activities. • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on demand inputs and new product launches. • Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Prepare demand planning reports for S&OP meetings. • Translate demand plans into supply requirements with procurement and operations. • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock across the network. • Lead process improvement initiatives for forecasting and planning workflows. Operations Management • Maintain integrated supply plans that balance demand, capacity, and inventory targets. • Set inventory strategies and safety stock levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. • Coordinate with production or fulfillment teams to ensure capacity alignment. • Flexibility to perform other duties as required Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or related field. • 5+ years of experience in supply chain with a focus on demand planning and exposure to Inventory Management, procurement, or logistics. • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, forecasting and ERP systems. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage competing priorities. • Multiple channel experiences such as Retail, Ecomm and Wholesale • APICS/ASCM certification preferred • Clear, concise communicator. • Skilled at presenting data-driven insights into leadership. • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform comprehensive deep-dive assessments to understand issues and identify actionable insights. • Uses structures problem-solving methods to resolve demand and supply gaps • Makes decisions with incomplete or evolving information • Strong data hygiene practices and ability to manage large datasets. Compensation decisions are based on a combination of experience, skill set, role alignment, and internal equity. Offers are typically aligned to experience and may vary within the range. The annual salary range for Illinois-based employees in this role is $120,000–$140,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.
